10 years has taken for realization for concept.
This awesome album "TAISHI" sticks to one shot recording.

A total of 8 songs by "Yamabe Taishi" and Japanese traditional music instrument players that representative of the various fields.
Recorded the present "Now of Japanese traditional music" on one disc.
Using Japanese Drums, Shamisen, Shakuhachi, Shinobue, Narimono, and 25 stringed-koto.

Yamabe Taishi | Japanese drum player

Japanese Drum (TAIKO / WADAIKO) player, composer Yamabe Taishi

Born in 1988 and raised in Kurashiki city, Okayama Prefecture.

Being familiar with drums from the age of 3 and went on stage as a member of Kurashiki Tenryo Daiko at the age of 6.

In 2004, won the highest award at youngest age ever in history at "Tokyo International Japanese Drum Competition / Big Drums Division" Gained attention because people hailed me as "Once in 50 years".

Express every rhythm freely by Japanese drums with a unique sense of rhythm and outstandingly fast drumstick handling.

While expanding the place of activity as a professional player abroad, pursuing new possibility with the Japanese drums such as stage production or composition, and performing actively with other genres.
